Mike Walter, President and Principal
Mike has been in the property tax consulting industry since 1993. His practice encompasses review and analysis of all property types to determine if the assessed value is too high and then uses thorough preparation and compilation of valuations using standard appraisal practice methods for properties that should be appealed. He has developed a specialty with institutional multi-family properties and also with luxury homes of high distinction.
Mike has been involved in hundreds of county and state level appellate hearings. The result of which is that approximately 93% have produced some level of value reduction and eventual tax savings. Mike has been seated as an expert witness.
Mike has been a licensed Registered Appraiser, and is a licensed Broker Associate, in the State of Colorado. Mike attended the University of Denver, majoring in finance and real estate. He has also taken a full range of classes offered by the Colorado Division of Property Taxation as well as a host of other real estate valuation classes.

Dan George, Vice President and Principal
Dan began his involvement in the property tax industry in 1989. At that time he applied his skill as a salesman for a tax consulting firm, meeting individually with commercial property owners and determining the individual property owner’s need for a Tax Appeal. After successfully building a following of satisfied clients, Dan went on to develop a great deal of expertise in the valuation of numerous types of properties and has prepared hundreds of consulting assignments advocating fairness in value for the taxpayers.
Dan is responsible for analyzing market data which is collected from the surrounding market areas in which 1st Net Real Estate Services, Inc. is providing our services to our clients, in addition to collecting and analyzing information provided by the client. Once the information has been analyzed, Dan is responsible for negotiations for settlement of property tax matters with county officials in all states in which 1st Net practices.
Dan is a Registered Appraiser and a licensed Employing Broker in the State of Colorado. Dan has attended GCJC in Kansas and Red Rocks Community College. He has taken numerous Appraisal Institute classes, Kaplan continuing real estate education and classes offered by the Colorado Division of Property Taxation.

Jennifer George, Controller
Jennifer started at 1st Net Real Estate Services, Inc. on a part-time basis in January 2004 as a transaction researcher and data analyst after a 5 year career in banking. In 2005 she moved to the position of bookkeeper and eventually became the company Controller in 2007. Jennifer is responsible for receivables, payables, payroll, cash management and P & L and Balance Sheet reporting.

Amanda George, Research & Data Analyst
Amanda has worked for 1st Net Real Estate Services, Inc. on a part-time basis since graduating from high school and joined the firm in a full time position in September 2012 after obtaining her Associates Degree in Business from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Amanda currently assists Dan and Mike as a transaction researcher and data analyst. Amanda is a candidate to become a Registered Appraiser.
